Light teams with Trucker's for 2009 season

It was announced earlier this week that
Jimmy Light will fill the seat of the black, red, and white Trucker’s 24
Hour Towing No. 12 DRC sprint car. Light and the Trucker’s team are
excited to join forces and look forward to working together in the 2009
race season.
2008 Lawrenceburg Speedway Track Champion, Jimmy Light adds, “I am really looking forward to the ’09 season and working with the Trucker’s Team. I have always drove and owned my own stuff, so this will all be new to me, but I am happy to have this team behind me and can’t wait to work with them.”
The Trucker’s Team has had several hot shoes pilot their sprint cars over the years with drivers like Dave Darland, Daron Clayton, Hunter Schuerenberg, Shane Cottle, Jon Stanbrough, and Darren Hagen to name a few. Darren Hagen will be Light’s teammate piloting the black, yellow, and red No. 10 with Jim Whiteside as his crew mechanic. Light will be working with Kris Kirchner as his crew mechanic.
The team has not put together a complete schedule as of yet, but plan to run with USAC, MSCS, and also several local tracks in Indiana. Stay tuned for further updates.
